Add-on Features

  • Call Conferencing
This Prepaid Calling Plan feature allows multiple people to dial into a conference “room” and have a conversation. The conference rooms are created dynamically as needed. This means all you have to do to start up a conference is agree on a room number and time to dial in.
To access conference rooms, dial 87XXX where XXX is any 3 digit number. For example, dial 87000 and you will be connected to a conference and be able to speak with anyone else who happens to be in that room at the time.
  • Voicemail
With this Prepaid Calling and Unlimited Calling Plan feature, if you are on the phone or you are unable to answer a call, the system will send the caller to your voicemail box. Once there, they will be able to record a voice message for you. When you have messages waiting, the system will notify you by sending your phone a MWI (message waiting indication). Depending on your phone, this will show up as a blinking light or a “stuttering” dial tone. Voicemail messages will also be emailed to you as well as available by phone.
To access the voicemail system and retrieve your messages by phone, dial 8500. The system will prompt you for your phone number and your password (PIN number). Your original PIN number will be emailed to you when you sign up for service. Once in the voicemail system, you can check your messages, record unavailable or busy messages, change your PIN, etc. All features are accessed through voice prompts.
